DIWALI: A TIME OF REFLECTION AND CELEBRATION

Saturday (14 November) marked the first day of Diwali – a four-day celebration which is also known as the ‘festival of lights’.  Diwali is a Hindu event which originated in India, but is now witnessed and celebrated around the world with four spectacular days of illuminations and unique traditions that fill people with good hope, love, peace and happiness.

Providing a time to reflect on life, to give and to forgive, Diwali marks the birth of a rejuvenated soul – charging us up to make positive changes for a more healthy, ethical and spiritually advanced life.
