We are committed to taking action against Anti-Social Behaviour and offer advice and support to anyone who reports it.

So what is Anti-Social Behaviour?

Anti-Social behaviour is classed as "acting in a manner that causes or is likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress to one or more persons not of the same household" Crime & Disorder Act 1998

Includes:   

  • - Harassment
  • - Verbal or physical abuse
  • - Racial abuse or hate crime
  • - Criminal damage
  • - Vandalism
  • - Noise nuisance
  • - Graffiti
  • - Threatening or intimidating behaviour
  • - Smoking or drinking alcohol while underage
  • - Selling drugs
  • - Substance misuse
  • - Litter and rubbish dumping
  • - Nuisance driving/vehicles 

 

How do I report Anti-Social Behaviour?

Steps you can take:

  • Record times and dates
  • Talk to the person responsible. Stay calm, giving times and dates explaining how what is occurring affects your family.
  • This may not be appropriate if you feel threatened or vulnerable approaching the person responsible

How to report it:

  • Get in contact with your Housing Officer or send an email to enquiries@inquilabha.org giving times and dates of the incidents
  • Call the emergency services immediately if you think you are in danger

We have teamed up with the Anti-Behaviour Line to support our residents if they need to report anti-social behaviour that you are experiencing or have witnessed outside of office hours.
